Inguinal Hernia Surgery

An inguinal hernia is the most common type of hernia, and occurs in the inguinal canal of the lower abdominal wall, near the groin. A bilateral inguinal hernia occurs on both sides of the pubic area. When symptoms are minimal, elective surgery may not be recommended. Surgery can be done under local or general anesthesia.
